Jerome Chang is a second year mechanical engineering student who is extremely passionate about space technologies, specializing on New Space technologies to be implemented on StarSpec's InspireSAT project. He is currently a part of the Queen’s Space Engineering team working as the mechanical manager. Jerome is interested in designing precision in-orbit optical devices with a main focus on managing vibrations and alignment during launch through a plethora of design and validation tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks and TAITherm.

Jerome’s background in mechanical design as well as his experience from the Queen’s Space Engineering team has positioned him well to support the InspireSAT mission as part of the mechanical and mission planning team.
